In fact every combination is possible because we as a family
own paine.org and the number of characters is
unrestricted so you can have whatever e'mail address you like (unless
it has been used already).
Many combinations are possible simply by separating initials or
first names by a "." for another character such as
"-" or a "_"
I suggest that you decide the format that your family unit would like and all try and keep to the same. This won't always be possible as it is first come first served , but if you register all the family in one go you are more certain to get what you want.
How does it work There are two types of E'mail address that you can have. Mail forwarding and full Pop3 account.
Mail Forwarding simply
means that you give everyone your new paine.org e'mail address
and any mail is forwarded onto your e'mail account at work or
your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
This method is ideal for people who don't have there own Internet access at home but do have an e'mail account at work. You can give personal friends the paine e'mail address and any mail is automatically forwarded to your work address. If your address changes for whatever reason (new job, or you get an e'mail account at home) we can simply change the forwarding address their is no need to notify anyone of an e'mail address change.
Mail forwarding is also great for people who already have a personal account with an ISP - it allows you to have a more sensible name and if you change providers (to obtain a lower cost/better service) your e'mail address does not have to change (we simply change the forwarding address).
Because this is simply administered the cost is quite low see cost below.
If you have friends or family who cannot access the Web but have an e'mail account at work please let them know about this service as they may well be interested in having a paine.org e'mail account.
POP3
This is a full POP3 account accessible through the internet. this service costs more than simple forwarding and requires that you know how to access this kind of mail box.

Please mail me with the e'mail address that you would like and I will check whether it is available. If it is a simple forwarding account I will set it up for you and we can work out how to get the money to me afterwards.
All fees are payable in advance for periods up until 30th June (I am trying to get everyone onto the same date that I have to pay for the Web site) for example if you want your new e'mail address from December you will have to pay for 7 months in advance (plus any setup fee), from then on you will pay a whole year in advance (scary stuff!)
